We had our first 90 degree day this week. I love this time of year here. People are happier. What little green there is suddenly becomes so bright, it almost looks manufactured. After months of being required to dine indoors where it's just too loud and crowded, we can finally choose the outdoor seating :)

It's been awhile.

Things are going well here in Vegas. The first year was tough, but this place actually begins to grow on you. I still find myself home sick from time to time, but it has steadily decreased since our first days here.

It's cold here now, but I have recently begun using the "rest" feature in the car, which circulates the heat when the car is turned off. Sometimes it's just a little thing that can make a tremendous impact.

Work has been keeping me busy. So much so that the last real month I can coherently recall is August. All months following have been a blur. We are spending Christmas week in Yorba Linda and Mt. Charleston in an effort to recharge the batteries. The hope is to return with a fresh perspective for the new year.
